Oh, and we tried out some new shoes...shoes we were given to us ages ago...so cute! They are still a bit big, but her normal Robeez weren't nearby as we were getting dressed and really, these fit just enough to wear. Aren't we coordinated?
The big event yesterday (besides the grocery shopping and trip to the library...ha ha) was a visit to the park with Those ___ Girls. We went for a walk and a coffee with Jo-Anne and G was getting restless in the stroller. Park was the perfect thing!
The girls are quick on their feet and eager to put anything dirty in their mouths that they can. It's a workout keeping sand from getting eaten!Katie, the only non-walker among us, watched on apprehensively...hopefully taking note that this is NOT a restaurant...
...but a playground with Swings!We had our first time on the swings ...huge success!
I have many little pictures because this is a moment to be recorded. 
How much fun is she having!? (this pointy tongue thing is new to this week, although I think she has gone through similar tongue phases before...perhaps teething related?)
Of course, I couldn't help but take a video too...G and Katie were good swing buddies.
G loves swinging too!
C was a little more interested in tunnels. 
And G is an expert at Park Peekaboo!
After all that fun we came home, ate a yummy dinner and Katie helped dad with some typing. (lest you think he is working too hard...it was iTunes not math!)
Also from yesterday, in keeping with the ongoing saga that is eating and meal planning...I made a delicious beef barley soup...that calls for a half cup of horseradish (which I don't really like)! Trust the recipe...it was good, warm and spicy!Happy Wednesday!
PS...the title to the post...from an old Tom Petty favorite...(though Katie is NOT currently dating a singer!)
